In a surprising turn of events, the Bank of Baroda has withdrawn the e-auction notice for actor-politician Sunny Deol’s Juhu bungalow, citing ‘technical reasons’. The bank had earlier issued the notice to recover a loan of around Rs 56 crore that the Gadar 2 star had allegedly defaulted on.

What Was Sunny Deol’s Loan For?

According to the notice, Sunny Deol had borrowed Rs 55.9 crore from the Bank of Baroda in December 2022 for his company Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd, which produces films and operates a studio in his Juhu villa. The loan was secured by mortgaging the property, which is named Sunny Villa and has an area of 599.44 sq m. The notice also mentioned that Sunny’s father Dharmendra, brother Bobby Deol, and Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd were the guarantors and corporate guarantor for the loan.
