Recently, the makers unveiled the revamped version of Aamir Khan’s iconic track Papa Kehte Hain from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak at a star-studded event in Mumbai. The highlight of the evening was Rajkummar Rao and Alaya F’s spirited performance alongside Aamir Khan, adding to the buzz surrounding the film.
A video emerged online where Aamir Khan, Rajkummar Rao, and Alaya F were seen enjoying and singing the song as a band of visually impaired artists was performing it.

Aamir Khan Says “Papa Kehte Hain” Song Is Very Special To Him
At the launch event, Khan talked about why the song means so much to him. He mentioned, “It’s the song that launched my career. It holds a special place in my heart. When we made it, we were all new to this. It was an adventurous time. We weren’t sure if people would like it or not. Mansoor and I had some concerns about the movie. Once the film was out, it was no longer in our control. I believe it’s a significant moment in Indian cinema. It shifted the way people looked at movies from 1988 to 1994,” he said.

Expressing his admiration for Rajkummar Rao’s portrayal of Srikanth, Aamir Khan lauded the actor’s immersive performance, eagerly anticipating the film’s release on May 10, 2024.
