Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa are back to charm audiences with the third instalment of their popular Jatt and Juliet franchise.
This time, the story takes them to the romantic city of Paris. Known for their on-screen chemistry and comic timing, Diljit and Neeru reprise their roles with a fresh twist.
Jatt And Juliet 3 Trailer Out
The 3-minute and 9-second Jatt and Juliet 3 trailer shows both actors as cops. Neeru is the boss, and Diljit, true to his character’s essence, is the bumbling fool who falls head over heels for her. Their love story gets a twist when they land in Paris, and Neeru suspects Diljit of being in love with someone else. The film, like its predecessors, is a hilarious rollercoaster ride filled with love-hate dynamics and comical misunderstandings.
Diljit Dosanjh Has Almost Rejected The Film
The Jatt and Juliet series first launched in 2012 and was a significant milestone in Diljit Dosanjh’s career. It was also during this period that his career as a musician was on the rise. At a recent press conference, Diljit shared an interesting anecdote about almost rejecting the first film.
“When Jatt & Juliet 1 was being made, I had issues with Darshan Singh Grewal, the producer. So when the offer came, I wanted to reject it in person. But when I reached his office, he signed a blank cheque in filmy style and said, ‘Paaji, fill the amount, I want to do a film with you.’ I didn’t foresee this,” Diljit Dosanjh confessed.

Over the past 12 years, Diljit has become an international star, especially known for his music. Despite his global success, he continues to make movies in India.
He recently starred in Netflix’s Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali, which is being hailed as one of the best performances of his career. He also made a cameo in the Kareena Kapoor-starrer Crew, much to the delight of his fans.
Neeru Bajwa, who was already a star in Punjabi cinema when she first worked with Diljit, has recently turned producer with the Punjabi film Shayar. In 2023, she garnered acclaim for her role in Kali Jotta.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Jatt and Juliet 3, which promises to deliver the same blend of humour and romance that made the first two films such hits. The film is set to release on June 27.
