Vidyut Jammwal Joins Sivakarthikeyan’s SK23 As Villain, Reunites With AR Murugadoss After Thuppakki – Check Announcement Video!
AR Murugadoss, the renowned Tamil filmmaker, is back in action with his much-anticipated comeback to Tamil cinema. This time, he’s bringing in the action star Vidyut Jammwal, best known for his portrayal of the antagonist in Thuppakki, to share the screen with Sivakarthikeyan.
SK23, as it’s tentatively titled, marks Sivakarthikeyan‘s 23rd film. Fans are thrilled to witness the face-off between Siva and Vidyut.
Apart from Vidyut, the film will also feature Biju Menon and Rukmini Vasanth in pivotal roles.
Makers Drop Announcement Video Confirming Vidyut Jamwal As Villain In SK23
The confirmation of Vidyut’s role came from the official Twitter handle of Sri Lakshmi Movies, accompanied by a behind-the-scenes video featuring Vidyut and the director.
The update was shared on X by the makers, stating, “Bringing back the villain who terrorized one and all 🔥 Welcoming the menacing @VidyutJammwal on board for #SKxARM.” The post included an announcement video introducing Vidyut Jammwal in his signature style.

AR Murugadoss Returns To Direction After 4 Years With This Film
AR Murugadoss, the director behind blockbusters like Ghajini, Thuppakki, and Kaththi, is set to helm this ambitious project after a four-year hiatus. In addition to SK23, he is simultaneously directing Salman Khan in the film Sikander, which will also feature Rashmika Mandanna in a lead role.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is also part of Amaran, produced by Kamal Haasan, expected to hit the screens later this year.
