Akshay Kumar Asks To Hold His Fee Amid Pooja Entertainment’s Crew Payment Crisis; Jackky Bhagnani Says ‘I Am Grateful…’

Vashu Bhagnani’s production banner, Pooja Entertainment, has found itself embroiled in controversy recently, as several artists have come forward alleging non-payment of dues. Actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani, son of Vashu Bhagnani, has finally addressed the issue. He also talked about the support extended by Akshay Kumar during this challenging period.

Jackky Bhagnani Claims Prioritising The Well Being Of Crew Members, Thanks Akshay

Jackky Bhagnani emphasised the importance of prioritising the well-being of their crew, expressing gratitude for Akshay Kumar’s steadfast support. He disclosed that Akshay personally met with him to discuss the situation and promptly offered his assistance to ensure that all pending payments to cast and crew members were settled.

In an official statement, Jackky stated, “Akshay sir met me recently to discuss this matter. Upon learning about this situation, Akshay sir didn’t hesitate to step forward and show his support for the crew. He has insisted that his payments be placed on hold until every single cast and crew member working on our projects receives their full and final payment. We are incredibly grateful for Akshay sir’s understanding and his willingness to stand with us during this time. The movie business hinges on strong relationships, and that is the spirit we strive to foster at Pooja Entertainment.”

Among the films affected is the ambitious project Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, produced by Pooja Entertainment and featuring a star-studded cast including Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chillar, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Despite a substantial budget of Rs 300 crores, the film’s box office performance fell short, earning only Rs 105 crores by the end of its run.

According to a report in Indian Express, none of the actors involved in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan have received their due payments. Sources close to the production revealed that despite repeated requests, the cast members have not been compensated. Despite these financial challenges, the cast remained committed to promoting the film, unwilling to leave such a significant project in limbo.
