Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba: Taapsee Pannu And Vikrant Massey’s Netflix Film Set To Release On Aug 9 – Check Teaser!
Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey are set to reunite for the sequel to their hit OTT film Haseen Dillruba. On Monday morning, the filmmakers announced the release date for the highly anticipated sequel, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba.
Netflix India’s official page shared a teaser along with the caption, “9 August ki Hasseen shaam, Dillruba ke naam. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, is out on 9 August, only on Netflix.”
The Sequel To This Taapsee Pannu Starrer Was Confirmed In February
The new teaser for Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba dropped in February, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. The teaser features Taapsee Pannu looking stunning in a blue saree and Vikrant Massey making a striking appearance with his prosthetic hand.
Joining them are Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Shergill, adding more intrigue to Rani and Rishu’s complex world. The teaser hints at an encounter in the rain, a boat ride, and a thrilling chase sequence, all promising to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
The caption alongside the teaser read, “Rishu aur Rani ki kahaani me pyaar aur pagalpan, dono abhi baaki hain (In the story of Rani and Rishu, love and madness, both are still left). Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is coming soon, only on Netflix.”
About The Prequel
For those unfamiliar with the prequel, Haseen Dillruba followed the tumultuous story of Rani and Rishi, played by Taapsee and Vikrant. Their lives spiral out of control when Rani falls for Rishu’s cousin, portrayed by Harshvardhan Rane.
Directed by Vinil Mathew and written by Kanika Dhillon, the film received mixed reviews but became one of the most-watched Hindi movies on Netflix in 2021.
