REPORT: Mohanlal Set To Wrap Up L2 Empuraan, Will Resume Filming Tharun Moorthy’s L360 On This Date!
Mohanlal is busy with several exciting projects. His much-anticipated film Ram, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is delayed indefinitely. However, he has a strong lineup, including his directorial debut Barroz, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s L2 Empuraan, and Tharun Moorthy’s L360.
Currently, Mohanlal is in Gujarat shooting for L2 Empuraan. Despite a brief delay due to rain, filming has resumed, and the Gujarat schedule should finish soon.
Mohanlal To Resume L360 Shoot In August?
Next, Mohanlal is expected to head back to Kerala to continue shooting L360. Reports suggest he will return by the end of July 2024, with the next schedule starting on August 5, 2024. The team aims to complete filming before Onam 2024.
After the brief August schedule, another break is planned before the final phase. Fans can expect a significant update, possibly the first look poster and title, in a few weeks.

About Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan & L360
L2: Empuraan is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film continues the story of Stephen Nedumpally, played by Mohanlal, exploring deeper into the political and criminal world. Filming is ongoing, with Mohanlal recently joining the sets in Gujarat.
On the other hand, L360 is Mohanlal’s 360th film, directed by Tharun Moorthy. Mohanlal plays Shanmughan, a dedicated taxi driver. This film marks his reunion with actress Shobana after nearly two decades. Shooting began in Thodupuzha, with the first look and title revealed on Mohanlal’s 64th birthday.
