Newcastle set to announce the signing of winger this weekend

Newcastle United are reportedly set to confirm the signing of Galway United winger Kyle Fitzgerald.
That’s according to a recent report from NUFC Blog, who claim the Magpies have beaten Brighton and Wolves to reach an agreement with the talented 17-year-old.
Under-17 Ireland international Fitzgerald is expected to join Rory Finneran — the young midfielder who recently joined Newcastle from Blackburn Rovers.
Likely to go into the club’s youth squad before attempting to make the step up to senior first-team football, Fitzgerald will become the Geordies’ fourth under-18 signing after Aaron Apia, Ezra Tika-Lemba and Kayden Lucas.
