‘Don’t Judge Vedaa By Its Cover’: Tamannaah Bhatia Supports John Abraham After His ‘Idiot’ Comment Sparks Controversy
John Abraham faced some heat at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Vedaa after the actor called a journalist ‘idiot’ when he labelled his action-packed movies as repetitive.

Here’s What Tamannaah Bhatia Said In Support Of Vedaa
On her X account, Tamannaah urged fans not to judge Vedaa by its cover. She explained that the film offers a fresh take on the action genre. “Trust me when I say, it’s more than just an action film! My friend @TheJohnAbraham, one of the nation’s favourite action heroes, is bringing his incredible influence to a genre he’s totally mastered,” she wrote.
“This time, he’s telling a different kind of story through action, showing just how deeply this genre can convey meaningful cinematic experiences today.”
Tamannaah also highlighted the return of director Nikkhil Advani, who is back in the director’s chair after a six or seven-year hiatus. She praised Advani’s contribution and expressed her excitement about Sharvari Wagh’s performance, saying, “I can’t miss mentioning #Sharvari here and how I just can’t wait for y’all to see her kill it on the big screen yet again!”
Addressing her role in the film, Tamannaah described it as modest but shared her enthusiasm for the project. “Although my contribution to the film is modest, I’m genuinely so excited about its release and to have partnered with John, Nikhil sir, Sharvari, Abhishekh Banerjee, and the entire crew of Vedaa,” she said.
She concluded by saying, “Our film promises to bring a fresh perspective to action films in our country, and I feel everyone would love to experience this new story on the big screen.”
