Devara: Jr NTR Starrer Smashes Pre-Sales Records With $500K+ In US, Trailer Drops On September 10 – Check Posters!
Devara is making waves in Indian cinema this September. The film, starring Jr NTR, has set a new record as the fastest Indian movie to sell over 15,000 tickets in the US.
It has also shattered premiere pre-sales records, crossing $500,000 and surpassing hits like Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara has quickly outperformed Kalki 2898 AD, which made $134,479 in pre-sales over 20 days, and Salaar, which earned $356,612.
The impressive numbers show that Devara is not just leading but also generating immense excitement among fans.
Devara Makers Share Trailer Release Update Ahead Of Sep 27 Release
With the film’s release date approaching, the buzz is intensifying. On Saturday, the makers unveiled a new poster featuring Jr NTR in an all-black outfit against a backdrop of crashing waves.
The poster also revealed that the film’s trailer will drop on September 10. “Celebrate today. Conquer in a couple of days. Face your fears head-on from September 10th with #DevaraTrailer,” the caption reads.

Fans reacted with excitement, flooding social media with comments like “All the best” and “Mass on the way,” showing their high expectations for the film.
Recently, the third song from Devara was dropped by the makers and it turned out to be a vibrant dance number. This track, titled “Daavudi,” showed the chemistry between Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR as they danced together on screen.
In the song, both actors grooved energetically to the upbeat tempo, celebrating themes of joy and love. Janhvi Kapoor, known for her impressive dance moves, was in perfect sync with her co-star Jr NTR.
The song was penned by Varadaraj Chikkaballapura, with vocals by Nakash Aziz and Akasa, and music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Devara: Part 1 stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the film is set to release in cinemas on September 27, 2024.
