Janhvi Kapoor Signs Cameo Role In Dhadak Co-Star Ishaan Khatter’s Next, To Shoot For 10 Days In This Neeraj Ghaywan Directorial
Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make a special cameo in her Dhadak co-star Ishaan Khatter’s upcoming film. Directed by Masaan director Neeraj Ghaywan, this film marks a reunion for the two actors who made their Bollywood debuts together.
Janhvi Kapoor To Shoot For A Cameo In Ishaan Khatter’s Next
According to inside sources, Janhvi has signed on for a 10-day shoot in this highly anticipated project, which is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
A source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “When Karan and Neeraj came to Janhvi with the offer, she couldn’t say no as she has the utmost respect for both of them. She has allotted 10 days from her packed diary and is excited to reunite with her debut co-star, Ishaan Khatter.”
The film, expected to release in the second half of 2025, promises to be an exciting project for fans of both stars.
While details about the storyline are still under wraps, it’s confirmed that the film will feature two heroes. The team is currently in talks with another young actor to join the cast.
“It’s a story of two friends, and Neeraj has come up with a solid storyline that will win over the audience. The treatment and flavour is very different from Masaan,” the source added.
Janhvi Turns Chef For Sunny Sanskari Co-Star Rohit Saraf
The actress recently turned chef for her Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari co-star, Rohit Saraf. Sporting a chef’s hat, she whipped up what she called “Zero Kcal” pasta.
Rohit shared a video of Janhvi in action on his Instagram Stories, playfully praising her cooking. “Appreciation post for Janhvi Kapoor, who fed me the best pasta I’ve had in months and claims it was zero Kcals. Utterly delusional but worth the damage!” he wrote.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Work Front
Janhvi’s 2024 has been a busy year filled with diverse roles. She kicked off the year with a cameo in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisha Uljha Jiya, followed by a lead role in Mr & Mrs Mahi, a romantic sports drama co-starring Rajkummar Rao. She then appeared in Ulajh, a spy thriller alongside Gulshan Devaiah and Adil Hussain.
She is now gearing up for the release of Devara Part 1, her Telugu debut alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
She is also in the midst of shooting Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, where she stars alongside Rohit Saraf. Additionally, she has an action-packed drama with Ram Charan in the pipeline.
