Recent rumours circulated about his potential comeback as the iconic cop in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, but these have now been thoroughly debunked by sources close to Salman after clarification from Rohit Shetty.
Salman Khan Not Returning As Chulbul Pandey In Dabangg 4 As Of Now
A trusted insider shared with Bollywood Hungama, “Where did that come from? Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey in Singham Returns, sounds like someone’s idea of click-baiting. There is ABSOLUTELY no truth to it. Singham is far removed from Dabangg. For now, Salman is done with Chulbul Pandey and Dabangg.”
The source added, “He is not doing the fourth part of Dabangg unless he finds the right script and director. Prabhu Deva, who directed Dabangg 3, refused the offer to carry the franchise forward. So, where and why would Salman play Chulbul Pandey in someone else’s franchise? This is one of the funniest rumours in recent times”
Rohit Shetty Recently Reacted To Rumours Of Salman’s Cameo
Rohit Shetty made it clear that Salman Khan is not involved in his Singham universe. According to sources, Shetty never approached Salman for a cameo, and the circulating reports were baseless.
Some outlets, including Times Now, had earlier claimed that Salman would feature as Chulbul Pandey in Singham Again, which added to the speculation. Another source even suggested that Shetty had tailored a role for Salman’s larger-than-life persona, but these rumours have been thoroughly debunked.
For now, fans won’t see Salman in his beloved Chulbul Pandey avatar anytime soon. However, Salman is keeping himself busy with other high-octane projects.
Salman Khan Is Busy Shooting Sikandar
Currently, he’s filming for Sikandar, a big-budget action film directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss. The shoot has begun with a visually impressive aerial action scene that has already grabbed attention.
Reports indicate that this scene will show Salman suspended at a height, engaging in intense hand-to-hand combat. The stunt choreography mixes aerial stunts with close-range fighting, which will be enhanced by cutting-edge special effects.
