Devara Part 2 Update: Jr NTR Has Bigger & Better Plans For Sequel, Told Koratala Siva ‘I’m Going To Send You Away From…’

Recently, Jr NTR shared some intriguing details in an interview, giving fans a peek into what’s coming next.
Jr NTR Says THIS About Devara Part 2
Speaking with the Associated Press, Jr NTR revealed that filming for Devara Part 2 is still in progress. “No, not yet,” the RRR star said when asked if the shoot was complete.
He added, “We have shot a few sequences, but now that Part 1 is doing so well, we want to take our time with Part 2. We want to make it bigger and better, something that excites the audience even more.”
Jr NTR also mentioned that he sent director Koratala Siva on a break to recharge. “I told him, ‘I’m going to send you away from Hyderabad. Take a month off, have some fun, and don’t think about anything. Come back refreshed, and we’ll start working on it again,’” he shared.
Though the story for Devara Part 2 is already set and they’ve filmed two major sequences, Jr NTR emphasised the need for the team to re-energise before diving back into production. This extra time is aimed at ensuring the sequel lives up to its hype and delivers even more thrills for the fans.
Devara Part 1 Is Performing Exceptionally Since Its Release Day
Devara Part 1, which hit screens on September 27, it has shattered records. It’s now the highest-grossing solo opener for both Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, who star as the lead couple.
The film also secured the second-biggest opening of the year, setting the stage for a massive box-office run. Along with Jr NTR and Janhvi, Devara features a stellar ensemble cast including Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, and Kalaiyarasan in key roles.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara is set in a coastal region and tells the story of a man who is both feared and respected by four villages. The action-packed drama follows his journey from a dacoit to a legend, as he ultimately turns away from crime.
