Anees Bazmee On Shooting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Despite PAINFUL Leg Injury To Ensure Film Releases On Time: ‘It Shocked Everyone’
Director Anees Bazmee is going all out for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, despite facing a tough personal challenge. The film, starring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri, is set to release on November 1, but behind the scenes, the journey has been anything but smooth.
Bazmee recently opened up about working on the movie while battling a painful leg injury, making the upcoming release even more remarkable.
Anees Bazmee Reveals Shooting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 With Fractured Leg
In an interview with The Times of India, Bazmee revealed that he fractured his leg just days before filming began. The injury was serious enough that doctors recommended a recovery period of four to six months.
However, Bazmee wasn’t willing to let that slow down production. “One could say I shot the film sitting on one leg,” he joked during the interview.
He explained that if he had delayed the shoot, the team would have missed their much-anticipated Diwali release date. “If I had waited, we wouldn’t have made the deadline,” he said.
The filmmaker made it clear that the decision to push through wasn’t easy, but necessary.
Bazmee shared that he spent much of the shoot directing from a chair due to his injury. “I thought if I stayed home, I wouldn’t heal as fast. My decision surprised everyone, but we managed to complete more than half the film while I was sitting,” he added.
Despite the immense pain, the director powered through, determined to meet the schedule.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise has built a massive following, and expectations are high for the third instalment.

Interestingly, the trailer for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was expected to drop on October 6 but got postponed due to some last-minute edits. Meanwhile, Singham Again’s trailer has already been released, and fans are now eager to see if Bazmee’s film can match the hype of Ajay Devgn’s cop drama.
