Himesh Reshammiya Starrer “Badass Ravikumar” To Set for Dussehra 2024 Release, Prabhudeva to Play An Eccentric Villain
“Badass Ravikumar”, starring the multi-talented Himesh Reshammiya in the lead role, and produced by Himesh himself is set to hit the silver screens on Dussehra , 11th October 2024. Adding to the excitement, renowned actor and choreographer Prabhudeva has been roped in to play the negative role, marking a significant shift from his usual on-screen personas.

The film will be a spin-off from his popular The Xpose franchise starring Himesh as Ravi Kumar, his character from the franchise. The teaser premiered during the screenings of “Jawan” in theaters nationwide. Set against the backdrop of the glitzy 1970s, the movie promises to be a musical action spectacle, featuring lavish songs and intense action scenes crafted by top action directors from around the world.
Himesh Reshammiya, known for his unique voice and music compositions, has been steadily making his mark in the acting world. Prabhudeva as the Antagonist
Prabhudeva is set to portray the character of Carlos Pedro Panther, an extravagant and larger-than-life antagonist, marking his debut in a villainous role against Ravi Kumar.
“Prabhudheva will be playing the villain avatar for the first time in Hindi film. His is a character of Carlos Pedro Panther, a larger-than-life eccentric villain against Ravi Kumar,” revealed a source close to the development.
The inclusion of Prabhudeva in the cast has piqued the interest of movie buffs. Known for his exceptional dancing skills and charismatic screen presence, Prabhudeva playing the antagonist is an intriguing prospect. Details about the rest of the cast, which includes nine additional villains, the lead heroine, and several prominent character actors, as well as the film’s director, will be revealed shortly.
Goes on floors in March 2024; Blocks Dussehra release

“The script is locked and the team is currently prepping for the action scenes with the intent of taking it on floors by March 2024. Himesh has composed a great music album for the film, and much like all his previous work, will be launching the songs from the over the coming year,” the source added. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floors in March 2024.
The film’s music composer is Himesh himself and he will soon start recording the songs. He has also been undergoing rigorous training in action and dance with a special focus on a look transformation with best-in-class trainers and stylists to embody the character of Ravi Kumar which will continue for 5 extensive months.
